There are many options to choose from when parking in Lyme Regis
which all offer parking at different rates, and hopefully this guide
will help you for when you make a visit. All car parks work on a
Pay and Display basis Parking Close to The Cottage
For visitors staying in our cottages, we recommend using Woodmead
Halls Car Park, just a few minutes walk from the cottages on Coombe
Street. We recommend this car park for our visitors beacuse as well
as the usual daily rates, 3 day or week long tickets are available
to buy over the phone before you arrive, taking another slight pressure
off your mind.
For more information, visit the Town Council Services page. To pay online visit RingGo or by phone call 01297

Out Of Central Town Parking
There are two long stay car parks in Lyme Regis, Holmbush and Charmouth
Road Holmbush Car Park is situated on the A3052 entering from Rousdon,
and is just a few minutes walk from the beach and the centre of
town. Charmouth Road car parkis the opposite side of town, and as
the road name suggests is located on the road from Charmouth, just
below Lyme Regis Football Club.For a parking spot from 8 a.m.- 6p.m.
will cost just £1, and until 8a.m. the next day will cost
only 40p more, so this is the best value for money and most recommended.
There are around 300 spaces but on a sunny summers day these will
bothfill quickly so arriving no later than 11a.m. should gurantee
a parking spot.
There is also a Park and Ride service which operates from just
outside Lyme Regis to the East, on the A3052 road to Rousdon. Unfortunately,
it only operates during school holidays. Rates for the Park and
Ride fluctuate with season, and pick up and dropp off outside the
Cobb Arms Pub. Beach Parking
If you want easier access to the beach then there is a car park
at the bottom of Cobb Road, just West of the Cobb itself called
Cabanya Car Park. There are around 200 parking spots here and
each 2 hour period costs £2.00(when booking online or over the phone, car park code is 7621). Town Parking
There is an NCP car park situated on the main high street (Broad
Street) in between Tesco's and Boots. This is a much smaller car
park, with approximately 50 parking spots, and has a minimum charge
of £1.80 for one hour, with 1-3 hours costing £3.30,
and 3-24 hours costing £4.00.Due to the situation of the car
park larger vehicles cannot be accommodated here (when bookiing over phone or online, car park code is 9216).
There are also two car parks at the bottom of Lyme, situated directly
opposite each other. Cobb Gate car park, a stones throw from the
beach, can accommodate approximately 20 cars, whilst across the
road can accommodate closer to 40. Both charge the same rates, and
are as follows:
20 minutes- 40p
1 hour- 70p
2 hours- £1.60
3 hours- £4.00
Each Subsequent hour- £4.00
Booking details can be found when clicking the RingGo link at the bottom of this page. Parking For Larger Vehicles
Coaches, lorries, caravans and trailers have the choice of the
two Longstay car parks, Holmbush and Charmouth Road. Each hour costs
£1.00, and overnight (9 p.m. until 8a.m) will cost £2.50
